Why Having a Child is the Greatest Blessing Your Life
Robert & Julia Connors
Yes, with parenthood comes a lack of sleep, vacation, and official sick days. However, when you consider the overall effect on your life it can also be considered your greatest blessing. It has made you a better and happier person. It has given you more energy and stamina. It has given you the ability to take care of yourself.
The greatest benefit of having a child is that you are able to meet your responsibilities. It makes you a better parent and more involved in your child's life. As you become more involved in your child's life you become more involved in what is going on inside of your own home. This translates into a better parenting style and also a happier lifestyle.
With parenting comes responsibilities and one of those responsibilities is to take care of herself. For many working mothers this is no problem, however, there are those that are struggling to find the time off to get their health in order and to keep fit and stay positive.
The problem is that when she feels like she is not doing enough. She will feel a wave of depression and will likely feel like she is letting her child down. In order to combat the feeling of depression, she needs to stay positive and to know what her role is in the family.
She needs to realize that she is there for her children first and foremost. She needs to realize that she is there for both children and her husband as he is the most important thing in her life. If she is able to stay positive in the face of her responsibilities she will not just have two children but four children.
The other reason why having a child is a blessing is to increase her income. By increasing her income she can afford to have a nicer home, nicer car, and nicer clothes if she can manage it. With the money raised from the kids, she can afford to get her health in order.
By raising the children and her income she is able to save for future needs. Having a child keeps her at least in the middle class. It will keep her sane and hopefully, it will help her find her purpose in life. A mother is always there for her children she just needs the time off to do it.

Are You Missing the Right Time With Your Pregnancy?
Robert & Julia Connors
Yes, with parenthood comes a lack of sleep, vacation, and official sick days. Yes, career expectations are greater than ever. Yes, we have to be more organized and thoughtful in our daily lives. But, what does all this mean for someone trying to lose weight? In the world of professional, social, professional, health, sports, and parenting, we are expected to move more often than in years past, but what do all these things mean for the person on the losing end of them?
It means I have to be more intentional in my choices when I'm out with friends.
I can't stay home with my children all day. I have to make my way to the bar with some friends of mine because the gym is closed. I have to be alert and mindful that I'm doing the best I can for my kids while I'm trying to meet a deadline. In addition to being an adult, I have to be aware of my child so they won't see me as an adult that can do what I want and that I have it together enough not to cry when a game is lost and take it seriously.
My husband and I have to plan and prepare for some special occasion like our anniversary or another special day. I can't just show up expecting to lose weight, even if I'm on my period.
I can't go to the gym and expect that it will help me lose weight that day, even if my muscles are showing. When we are expecting, we have to be prepared and we have to put together a meal that will be good for a baby. We have to know how to care for a baby and we have to do this while we go to the gym, go shopping for baby clothes, go to get our baby a pacifier, etc., etc. And of course, I have to be there to take care of the baby and to watch over her while her mama works out. And I have to have a workout in the evening and have a meal ready so that I can feed my baby and prepare a snack for me and my husband and a plate of food for my baby.
These are some things that I do regularly that I can do without feeling guilty. If I want to go to the gym, I can. If I want to have a snack in the car, I can. If I want to cook, I can. And if I have the time, I can be at the gym or at an appointment or at the grocery store, etc, etc.
We need to be able to get up and move, we need to get out and about, we need to eat healthily, we need to be at the gym, exercising is good for our bodies, walking is good for our bones, we need to be able to have snacks ready so that we don't go to the grocery store hungry.
These things don't have to happen at the same time all the time. And if they don't, then we need to start with the easy ones and work our way up to the more difficult and meaningful ones.
This is something that I know that my husband and I have been putting off for far too long. So I have decided that this is the time that I make this change and that it is the time that I really start working toward my goals and toward my goals has to be.
And I will keep you posted on the results.
